Rueda is for everyone

Rueda de Casino is Salsa at its most enjoyable. You don't dance with one partner, but in a large circle where everyone continuously switches partners on command.

The result? A dance full of laughter, surprises and pure energy.

You don't need to be an experienced Salsa dancer to learn Rueda. What helps: a basic sense of rhythm and the willingness to laugh.

We no longer offer separate Rueda lessons, but every Salsa Cubana class ends with a bit of Rueda. This way you learn two things at once.

What makes Rueda so special?

Rueda de Casino comes from Cuba and is unique because it's a mix of partner dance and group dance. A "caller" calls out the figures and the whole group executes them at the same time.

This requires concentration, reaction time and a good sense of music — but above all fun.

No two lessons are the same, and that's what makes Rueda so addictive.

Rueda is built into our Salsa Cubana lessons. We start three new course series per year.

Frequently asked questions

No way! Everyone is welcome — with or without a partner. We use a rotation system (not mandatory) where you switch partners during the lesson. This way you learn to lead or follow faster and meet new people.

Yes. You can take a trial lesson for each dance style during our trial week, which takes place before the start of a new lesson series. This way you can experience the atmosphere without any obligation.

Absolutely! We build everything step by step. Everyone can follow along — even if you think you have "two left feet".

No problem. You pay per lesson, so you're not committed to anything — come when it suits you and set your own pace. If you miss a lesson in Lier, you can make it up in Wommelgem (or vice versa). This is intended as an exception, not as a regular practice.

Rueda de Casino is a group form of Salsa Cubana where multiple couples dance simultaneously in a circle and switch figures on command. It's social, energetic and very fun to learn.

Bailando Latino offers Rueda de Casino lessons in Lier (Grote Markt 28) and Wommelgem (Autolei 113), integrated into the Salsa Cubana lessons. We finish each Salsa Cubana lesson with a quarter hour of Rueda, so you learn 2 dances in 1. Lier is only half an hour from Antwerp, Wommelgem about 10 minutes from Antwerp.
